The Desolation of Helios {lonely sun}

Desolation

sun shines sad rays, because it’s lonely.

clouds hang low and play all day. moonlight laughs as sun fades away.

moon has the stars to see it through the  night. as daylight breaks, moon

and stars fade away.

sun shines alone, because it has to. watching worlds, it’s all that it can do,

there’s nothing else to see it through.

sun dreams of dancing within the sea of stars, but is too warm to be it.

so it imagines the moon and stars too cool to always feel it.

watching comets drown across the galaxy and wonders if it’s all worth it ?

forced to turn it’s back knowing the stars and moon are coming to show their love.

while midnight clouds rain minuets of rain drops for moon and stars to dance in the eyes

of those who watch from below.

but if you believe in the meaning of miracles, maybe this time it will be right.

but if you fear in the beauty of love, maybe your questions still ends with “why?”  and

not so unlike the sun that’s so bright.

thunder echoes of the sun’s heart beat, but the moon and stars will never know.

cause he’s already gone, but can feel the love they show.

sun shines sad rays, because it’s lonely and has no where else to go, so

clouds hang low and play all day.

moonlight laughs as sun fades away.

moon has the stars to see it through the  night. as daylight bleeds, moon

and stars fade away. to return to love and play another day.

sun’s  reflection on a sea covered world is just a mirror of  a sky of a  lonely watcher, as clouds and

moonlit nights with star mirrors the  reflection of the imagination of worlds beyond and wishes to come true.

but if you believe in the meaning of miracles, maybe this time it will be right.

but if you fear in the beauty of love, maybe your questions still begins with you.
